An 'Unexpected Guest' tells an unlikely tale of a friendship between a young Earthling Nathan and a traveller from outer space, Skye.
The film starts with Nathan travelling home from school and witnessing something crashing to Earth. He ventures into the woods towards the crash site and spots the extra-terrestrial. He is unsure whether this is going to be a friendly encounter, but when the two of them realise that they are both wearing outfits with an illuminated star, then their friendship begins.
Their friend blossoms and Nathan introduces Skye to festive traditions. The short film allows the viewer to see Christmas through the eyes of someone who has never experienced it before.
